President, Supply Chain

Steve Williams, President of the Howard-Sloan Search Supply Chain Division specializes in assignments in the consumer products, manufacturing, food/beverage, industrial, chemical, distribution, retail, pharmaceutical, and medical technology industries. Steve has extensive experience successfully concluding critical search engagements relating to a wide variety of Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Operations and Transportation roles.

Based in New York, Steve has conducted numerous searches for C Suite, VPs, Directors, General Managers, and Supply Chain support staff across the United States. He also participates in cross-border searches for global clients. Before joining Howard-Sloan Search, Steve spent 30 years as a business builder and entrepreneur. Responsible for P&L, strategic direction, leadership, mentoring, staffing and business development within enterprises he has built from the ground up, Steve has mastered the ability to build long term relationships with a keen sense of how to create and empower a team around him. These skills have led to a perfect fit for helping organizations secure top talent for their enterprises.

Steve holds a BA in Political Science.





Vice President, Supply Chain

David Gans, Vice President of Howard-Sloan Search’s Supply Chain division, has over 30 years of international experience in South America, Europe and Asia with lean manufacturing and distribution environments. Throughout his career David has crafted strategies to increase revenue, control costs, develop high-performing sales teams, cultivate brands, and streamline logistics. With this unique combination of senior level sales, operations, and supply chain experience, David offers a holistic perspective and the benefit of diverse industry experience.

Recruiting since 2014, developing strong relationships is the foundation of everything David does, both professionally and personally. Partnering with organizations ranging from medium sized privately held companies to Fortune 500 institutions for opportunities in logistics, operations and procurement, David uses a consultative approach to connect with mid/senior/c level individuals who are currently aligned with excellent firms and are not actively looking elsewhere – providing his clients access to these free agent superstars that are not on their radar.

David has a M.S. in Information Technology from AIU and a B.S in International Business from LIU – CW Post.
