Senior Research Associate, Discovery

Our Cambridge/Boston based client is seeking an exceptional researcher to join their discovery research team. Key to this role is attention to detail and a passion for work at the bench, mixed with critical analysis and ideally high content imaging experience. Qualifications:

  • BS/MS with 3-10 years of research experience in an academic or industry setting in a related field
  • Experience with culturing mammalian cells (ideally primary or stem)
  • Experience with a variety of in vitro focused assays, primarily molecular (Transfection, RT-PCR, CRISPR, si/shRNA, Western Blot)
  • Ideally experience with Immunofluorescence or high content imaging

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of duties at the bench as they pertain to the clients active ongoing R/D pipeline
  • Interact with and help Scientists conduct cell based assays and experiments
