We begin by matching the right consultant and attorney to maximize synergy based on personalities, experience, and goals. Once a consultant and attorney are paired, together they engage in a seamless process of moving from his/her previous position to finding the next opportunity. As part of our 15 Step Process, we combine one-on-one coaching with group sessions, which studies have been proven, accelerates the process.
Every attorney receives one-on-one attention from his/her selected consultant. They will initially work through the emotional impact associated with departing the Firm. Next, the counselor will engage the attorney in several self-assessment exercises designed to define the attorney’s aspirations and career goals. Once goals are defined, his/her consultant will assist in steps necessary to achieve the attorney’s goals.
NexLegal has developed sophisticated group sessions designed to address topics that are specific to lawyers. We offer participating attorneys expert legal resume writing, interview coaching, a customized communication strategy, focused strategies on researching legal opportunities, and attorney networking.
Studies have proven that proper networking expedites the employment search process. NexLegal offers each attorney access to private networking events and one-on-one coaching on how to effectively network. In addition, attorneys can participate in sessions focused on how to successfully navigate online networking and uncover hidden employment leads.
